The Luxton Blacks and Wiltshires have been drenched with Q drench following the faecal collection. We now have a 4 week break before starting again. Poor Kate but she is a dab hand at rectal extraction. My hypothesis is not standing up to experimental scrutiny, but we will persist. Both flocks were starved for 24 hrs and today put onto fresh pastures.

The new pasture grass mix sowing is coming up green. Hopefully the oats will be seen in the next week. I have direct drilled oats/peas/vetch into the double cypress paddock as an experiment. Steve told me about an old machine that he demonstrated, a Stubble King. It sounds ideal .All the past equipment he found for me has been very useful.
